Information and prices
Ecobike reserves the right to modify the commercial offer presented on ecobike.com (changes to products, prices, promotions and other sales and service) at any time.
All product prices displayed on the website include VAT, IGIC in the case of purchases made by residents in the Canary Islands.
'MSRP' or 'Public Recommended Selling Price’ is the base sale price of each product. When a product is on discount, the discount on the MSRP that is identified on page.
'Price' or 'Price Ecobike' is the final price at which a product is sold in Ecobike once applied the appropriate discount. This discount appears on page reported as a percentage. When there is no discount 'price Ecobike' and PVP are the same.
Ecobike.com offers the following payment options:
• Card: Order processing will start as soon as we receive payment confirmation from the bank. The card payment is made through the payment gateway of CAIXABANK security system "Secure Socket Layer" that encrypts the connection and introduces data on the secure server of the bank. The system supports only secure cards so if you have problems to finish payment, we recommend you contact your bank to verify that your card is enabled for eCommerce purchases.
• Bank Transfer: Upon completion of the order the customer will receive details of their purchase, with the total amount to be paid and the account number where the payment shall be done. (Title: Era Faraday, SL IBAN: ES10-2100-0038-4502-0048-9666).
Order processing, will start upon reception and checking of bank payment.
We recommend that you send bank payment confirmation by email to expedite the process. This payment method only accepts payments by bank transfer.
Availability of products and delivering of orders
The estimated delivery time is 2-5 working days for bicycles and spare parts orders and 10 days for batteries with greater than 10 Ah.
In the case those delivery times cannot be achieved, you will be given a new delivery time, at this point you can either cancel the order, accept the order on the new delivery time and in the case it is a multiple order part of which can be delivered on time you can get the goods on two shipments according to new delivery dates without paying additional shipping costs.
We recommend that you request special confirmation on delivery date in case you need an article before a specific date.
Although our delivery chain involves suppliers and external logistics agents, we strive to reduce our delivery times to the minimum. In case of incidence we will inform the customer, offering the most appropriate solution for each case.
Resolution of incidents and compensation policy
In the event that an order is delayed more than expected or includes an item that cannot be delivered, Ecobike will inform the customer and will do its best to provide a satisfactory solution.
If there is a delivery delay, Ecobike will inform the customer about the new estimated delivery time and will give the option of delivering in two shipments, at no additional cost to the customer if appropriate.
If the item or order finally could not serve you will choose from the following options:
• Proposed alternative item equivalent in price and features.
• Immediate refund of the amount paid with a credit card or bank transfer.
Delivery and financial costs
Shipping cost: They are related to our forwarding and order preparation costs related to forwarding services by transit agency. Ecobike normally uses SEUR or CBL as the Transport Company and regular POST to some destinations.
Freight to the entire peninsula (except Canary Islands, Formentera, Ceuta and Melilla) have a bike cost 28 € (VAT included) and approximately 15 € (VAT included) for parts and batteries. For other destinations, consult Ecobike.
Consumption and import taxes will be charged to the customer on arrival.
Free delivery Special offers will only apply in Spanish Peninsula and will apply only during the period in which such promotional banners are advertised on our home page www.ecobike.com or those pages in which they are publicized.
Returns and Claims
Our customers can return the order within fifteen days after reception of goods.
Customer needs to state their intention to return the goods by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org within 3 days of receipt of the goods, preferably explaining the reasons for return.
In case of return, return delivery expenses will be charged to the costumer, except in those cases when return is due to a manufacturing defect.
If a there has been a mistake on our part, we will collect and deliver the correct goods free of charge.
No return will be accepted without: original invoice, original packaging or without 3 day return notice mentioned above.

The guarantees will be established according to the Law 23/2003 of July 10 of Consumer Goods sale guarantees pursuant to Directive 1999 / 44EC.
We encourage users who have purchased their bike via the Internet to keep the original box for a while so it can be resend to the Technical Service if needed.
The guarantee of bicycles is 2 years, with the exception of consumables.
Battery has a 1 year warranty. However, after the first 6 months it must be proven that the fault corresponds to a manufacturing defect.
Loss of battery life as a result of aging itself, is not a manufacturing defect.
Warranty does not cover parts subject to normal wear and tear of the electric bicycle (tires, chain, brakes, tires, cables ...)
Ecobike is not liable and customer will lose the guarantee if:
User uses components from other manufacturers.
Repair in non official Ecobike services.
No presentation of proof of purchase (original invoice).
The Warranty has expired.
Guarantee repairs will only be done if original invoice with frame number.
